GQ’s hit YouTube series Actually Me features celebrities going undercover online to respond to real fan questions, with everyone from Jon Hamm to 50 Cent taking a turn. When GQ decided to film an episode with NBA MVP and Oklahoma City Thunder star Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, they reached out to Minifridge Media to provide production support on the ground in Toronto, Shai’s hometown.
Minifridge Media assembled a tight, professional crew including a DP, camera operator, sound recordist, and production assistant. We handled the local logistics, from sourcing the perfect backdrop, IKEA table, and GQ-branded laptop to managing on-set coordination, ensuring a smooth, stylish shoot worthy of both GQ and one of the best ballers to ever come out of Toronto.
